To mark its 40th year, the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) welcomed supporters, partners, healthcare professionals and campaigners to a special reception celebrating four decades of progress in improving bone health across the UK. The event reflected on the charity’s achievements since its founding in 1986, while reaffirming its commitment to a future where everyone can access timely diagnosis, effective treatment and support for osteoporosis.
The International Osteoporosis Foundation warmly congratulates the Royal Osteoporosis Society on this important milestone and commends its outstanding achievements over the past 40 years. Through its leadership in advocacy, public awareness, research and patient support, ROS has set an inspiring example for osteoporosis patient societies around the world.
We look forward to the Society’s continued success in advancing bone health and fracture prevention.
