PRACTICAL SUPPORT

OSTEOPOROSIS AND FRACTURE RISK SCREENING TOOL

This tool, intended for primary care physicians to share with their patients, has been developed by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) to help physicians initiate dialogue with their patients about osteoporosis and fracture risk. It is intended for use during medical consultations to improve patients’ understanding of their condition and provide them with essential information about anti-osteoporosis medications and their relative risks and benefits.
