Osteoporosis in men remains significantly underdiagnosed and undertreated, despite the growing body of evidence highlighting its impact on morbidity, mortality, and healthcare systems worldwide. Historically viewed as a condition affecting primarily women, male osteoporosis has long been overlooked in research, clinical guidelines, and routine care.

He will delve into the unique challenges of risk assessment, the proper use of densitometry tools, pharmacological treatment strategies, and the growing role of fracture liaison services.
This session will empower healthcare professionals to confidently integrate current best practices into the care of male patients, helping to close the care gap in osteoporosis.
