We are delighted to announce that the National Osteoporosis Society of South Africa (NOFSA) has been presented with the 'Best CNS Booth Award' at the WCO-IOF-ESCEO Congress, held in Prague, Czech Republic from April 16-19, 2026. IOF thanks all 15 Committee of National Society (CNS) members, representing four regions of the world, who showcased their important national work at the CNS village!
The CNS Village is a dedicated space at IOF’s annual World Congress where member organizations are invited to come together to promote their work, foster collaborations, and engage with the global bone health community.
We thank the following member organizations for hosting booths and presenting their impressive work:
- Albanian Society of Rheumatic Diseases (Albania)
- Armenian Society of Metabolic Bone Diseases and Osteoporosis (Armenia)
- Asia Pacific Consortium on Osteoporosis (regional organization)
- Association Française de Lutte Anti Rhumatismale - AFLAR (France)
- Czech Society of Metabolic Bone Diseases & Revmaliga (Czech Republic)
- Egyptian Academy for Bone & Muscle Health & Metabolic Bone Diseases (Egypt)
- Fondazione FIRMO (Italy)
- Fragility Fracture Network-FFN (global organization)
- Georgian Association of Skeletal Metabolism Diseases - GASMD (Georgia)
- Indian Society for Bone and Mineral Research (India)
- Istanbul Musculoskeletal Health Consortium (Turkey)
- Kosovo Osteoporosis Association (Kosovo)
- National Osteoporosis Foundation of South Africa - NOFSA (South Africa)
- The International Bone Ultrasound Society (France)
- Turkish Osteoporosis Society (Turkey)
As it is every year, the selection of ‘Best Booth’ is a difficult decision! So many booths were both visually striking and highly engaging — often serving as vibrant, bustling meeting points for large groups of registrants representing their respective countries and regions.
Among all the wonderful displays, the NOFSA booth distinguished itself through its creativity, consistency, and strong visual identity. The Award also recognizes NOFSA CEO Tereza Hough’s longstanding engagement and dedication, reflected year after year in an outstanding booth that consistently impresses and inspires.
